Barely hours after clinching the interim Head of House title, Doris Okorie has been unseated by fellow housemate Zita in the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 reality show.

The Week Four Head of House Challenger, which took place on Monday, came a day after Doris had been announced interim HOH during Sunday’s live eviction show.

According to the season twist for the 10/10 edition, Biggie had explained that Doris’ victory was only provisional and that she would have to return for a final qualifier to secure her position.

At the Monday contest, Doris went head-to-head with Zita, Ivata, Denari, Isabella, and Jason.

After a series of games, Zita emerged winner, officially claiming the top spot in the house.

Biggie Announces Zita as Head of House

In Biggie’s words, “Housemates, your new Head of House is, Head of House Zita.”

The announcement drew cheers and surprise among the housemates, particularly as Zita had maintained a relatively low profile over the past week following the eviction of her close companion with whom she was building a bond.

As part of her new privilege, Zita chose Rooboy as her deputy, a decision that appeared to catch him off guard.

Before her short reign ended, Doris had picked Jason Jae as her guest to share the HOH lounge, enjoying only a few hours of the perks before handing over to her successor.

Recall that Doris Okorie, had earlier emerged as the Head of House for Week Four, with the understanding that she will have to partake in an HOH challenger to retain her title.

Biggie announced on Sunday, a few hours after the eviction show that saw Kayikunmi and Otega leave the house.

“Doris, congratulations. You are the new head of house.

“Kindly select your house guest,” Biggie said.

Doris was asked to pick a house guest with whom she would share the privileges in the HOH lounge.

She chose Denari, a decision that has excited fans who are hopeful the duo’s bond will develop further.

The 33-year-old housemate was a strong contender among four male housemates in a qualifier group competing for the HOH position and ultimately emerged victorious.
