Chelsea were on Thursday presented with a special award by UEFA during the Champions League draw in Monaco for becoming the first club to win all four of the governing body’s major competitions.

The recognition follows the club’s UEFA Conference League triumph in May, where they beat Real Betis 4-1 in Wrocław to complete the set of Champions League, Europa League, Cup Winners’ Cup and Conference League titles.

UEFA President Hands Award

UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin, handed the award to Chelsea representatives at the ceremony, noting the uniqueness of the achievement.

Chelsea’s European record now includes two Champions League trophies (2012, 2021), two Europa League titles (2013, 2019), two Cup Winners’ Cups (1971, 1998), a Super Cup (1998, 2021), and the 2025 Conference League.

This makes them the first team in history to achieve the clean sweep of UEFA’s major club trophies.

President & Chief Operating Officer of Chelsea Jason Gannon collected the prestigious accolade from UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin on behalf of the Blues, celebrating the club’s remarkable achievement in European football.

Gannon said: “Yes, it has been an exciting few years for the club. On behalf of over 120 years at CFC, thank you from us. I’d say this validates the success of our young squad in a European campaign, we were also the youngest squad in the Premier League and qualified for the Champions League domestically. To be here and be part of this tournament is an honour and it will be special to bring UCL football back to Stamford Bridge.”

When handing out the award, Ceferin added “It’s almost impossible to win all of our competitions. I don’t think it will happen soon, if ever.”

It’s a proud moment for Chelsea, highlighting their consistency and success across UEFA competitions.
