Tiger and Vanessa’s romance has received a stamp of approval from the number 1 citizen of the United States of America. As reported by The Blast, Trump explained that the golfer had called him earlier to inform him about his relationship with his former daughter-in-law.
“I’m very happy for both, let them both be happy. They’re both great,” the president declared. He expressed his love for the athlete and his romantic partner.
He also gave his perspective on his son, Donald Trump Jr., and Vanessa’s failed marriage, noting that some factors played a disastrous role in the demise of their marriage. Trump blamed the “witch hunt” that went on by Russia and other bodies on his son for how bad his marriage to Vanessa turned out.
“But Vanessa and Don had a very good relationship. They have incredible children, five incredible children, all good athletes, all great students,” the POTUS added.
Tiger was involved in a highly controversial divorce from his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, in 2010, following allegations of infidelity.
The former couple have since moved on as great co-parents and friends, and the athlete duly informed Erin about his relationship with Vanessa.
